The goods and services shown are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangement you choose will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide, describing the funeral goods and services selected.

“Prior to drafting any contract for goods or services, the responsible party or the decedent’s survivor who is handling the funeral arrangements is entitled to receive a copy of any preneed agreement in the possession of the funeral establishment that has been signed and paid for, in full or in part, by or on behalf of the decedent.”


SERVICE PACKAGES

These packages have selected services bundled for your convenience and are only available if all merchandise is selected from Fred young Funeral Home. If your specific needs do not fall into one of these packages, your requested services will be itemized for you. (Veterans will receive a discount of $200.00 for Burial packages and $100.00 For cremation services.  Honorable discharge papers must be presented) *not valid for pre-arrangements. 


 Funeral Service - $3,995
Includes the following: Basic Services of the Funeral Director and staff, local transfer of remains, embalming, dressing, casketing & cosmetics, visitation (4 hours) church or chapel service, graveside, and funeral coach  (Other services, merchandise, and cash advances to be added as requested/needed) Savings of $1,425.00 

Funeral Service with Cremation - -$4,515
Includes the following: Basic Services of the Funeral Director and staff, local transfer of remains , embalming, dressing and casketing & cosmetics, visitation ( 4 hours) church or chapel service, crematory fee, and funeral coach (Other services, merchandise, and cash advances to be added as requested/needed) Savings of $940.00

International Shipping with Funeral Service - $4,885
Includes the following: Basic Services of the Funeral Director and staff, local transfer of remains, embalming, dressing, casketing & cosmetics, visitation (4 hours) church or chapel service, funeral coach, transportation to airport, international document processing, shipping container (Other services, merchandise, and cash advances to be added as requested/needed such as any consulate fees and airfare) Savings of $1,535.00

Memorial Services With Cremation - $2,795
Includes the following: Reduced basic services of the Funeral Director and staff, local transfer of remains, refrigeration, church or chapel service, use of reception room and crematory fee. (Other services, merchandise, and cash advances to be added as requested/needed) Savings of $1,120.00

Cremation with Visitation - $3,695                                                                                                               Includes the following: Basic Services of the Funeral Director and staff, local transfer of the decedent, embalming or refrigeration dressing and casketing & cosmetics, visitation (4 hours), and the crematory fee (Other services, merchandise, and cash advances to be added as requested/needed) Savings of $940.00


Graveside Service - $2,960
Includes the following: Basic services of the Funeral Director and staff, local transfer of remains, refrigeration, dressing & casketing, graveside and funeral coach. (Other services, merchandise, and cash advances to be added as requested/needed) Discounted of $1,225.00

Direct Cremation - $1,795
This charge includes the basic services of the Funeral Director, transfer to the funeral home, cremation fee, refrigeration. Filing all paperwork with the state and county, notifying social security, obtaining the death certificate and California state permit.
This fee does not include cash advances, the cremation container, specialty urn, preparation of remains, public viewing, visitation or funeral ceremony. You may furnish an alternative cremation container, which must encase the body and be made of materials such as wood, fiberboard or composition materials (with or without covering).

Direct Cremation with container purchased from our mortuary… $1,905

PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

Non-Declinable Services of Funeral Director & Staff - $2,195
This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving remains. This fee includes: arrangement conference; preparation of death certificate; 24 hr on-call; preparation of permit; coordination of cemetery and/or crematory services; common carrier arrangements; clergy arrangement; notification to social security; clerical and administrative duties; coordination of outside services; a portion of this fee is used for overhead.

Embalming - $695
Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.

BASIC SERVICES

Forwarding of Remains - $2,525
This includes removal of remains, basic services of staff, necessary authorization, embalming, and transportation to the airport (excluding shipping charges and container). This charge does not include use of facilities and staff for visitation or ceremonies. This charge applies to shipment within continental United States.

Receiving Remains - $2,425
This includes basic services of staff, transportation from airport in van, transportation of remains in utility vehicle to local cemetery or crematory. This charge does not include any other merchandise, cash advances, visitation or ceremonies.

Immediate Burial - $2,580
This service includes the following: Refrigeration; basic services of the Funeral Director; local transfer of remains; utility vehicle; and unscheduled delivery to cemetery. This does not include merchandise, preparation of remains, viewing, visitation, funeral ceremonies or cash advance items.  $2,180.00
Immediate Burial with container provided by the purchaser. (All such containers must meet any applicable state or cemetery requirements),

Warranties:  Warranties, expressed or implied, granted in connection with the goods sold with these funeral services, are expressly written warranties extended by the manufacturers.
No other warranties are extended by Fred Young Funeral Home.
