Obituary of Marcus Wright

It is with deep sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Marcus “Coby” Wright on August 11, 2021. Coby was born in Indiana on April 2, 1976 to Mark and Cynthia (Andy Johnson) Wright. Coby is lovingly survived his adoring wife, Jacinda Rilla Wright. Together they have 6 children; Trista (Tony) Prewitt; Storm; Clelan; Noah; Lavender June (Nathan); Gabriel. The real joy in Grandpa’s eyes was his grandson, Tony Jace Marcus. Coby is also survived by Sisters, Aunts and Uncles, Cousins, and other extended Family Members and Friends. Coby’s Second Family was his Sonic Team Members! Coby loved working for Sonic and everyone there was family to him. He had big plans and ideas for each one of them and their future success. Sonic brought a lot of happiness and the sense of accomplishment into his life. His Cable career started in 2003 and he worked his way up the ladder at a rapid pace. His career took he and his family all over the United States on an epic journey and life experiences. Always in the front of his mind and heart was drive to teach his children something new everyday. To give them the practical tools they would need on their own journeys. No matter who met him along the way, their lives were impacted in a big way for having known “Our Coby”.
